The TANDEM BIKE PROJECT is an amazing way for the visually impaired to get out and enjoy the exhilaration of biking! It's great exercise, highly social and an awesome way to enjoy nature. We're teaming up with the Springfield Bicycle Club, Springfield IL to make this project happen and funding is needed!  ​

​The mission of ECVI is to provide education, training & resources so the visually impaired are able to live safe, independent and fulfilling lives! The vision is to be the premiere educational center for the visually impaired and their support system.

Lincoln Memorial Garden Project
features beacons for the visually impaired!

The visually impaired can now enjoy the beauty of Lincoln Memorial Garden with iBeacons stationed throughout the garden! The beacons from Sensible Innovations feature detailed descriptions of the scene around them and how it looks. It’s an amazing experience for students served by ECVI!
